Lamentations 1:8-10

⁸ Jerusalem sinned ^(A)greatly,
Therefore ^(B)she has become an unclean thing.
All who honored her despise her
Because they have seen her nakedness;
Even ^(C)she herself groans and turns away.
⁹ Her ^(D)uncleanness was in her skirts;
She ^[a]did not consider her ^(E)future.
Therefore she has ^[b](F)fallen astonishingly;
^(G)She has no comforter.
“^(H)See, O Lord, my affliction,
For the enemy has ^(I)magnified himself!”
¹⁰ The adversary has stretched out his hand
Over all her precious things,
For she has seen the ^(J)nations enter her sanctuary,
The ones whom You commanded
That they should ^(K)not enter into Your congregation.
